In 2015, the beginnings of this family began with Heidi Totten, Moses Masoi, David Kupai, and Christine Khamasi. It continued to grow, as Heidi brought her family to Kenya over the years. 

When Evelyn Jeffries, Heidi’s mother, visited Kenya for the first time in March 2019, she fell in love with the culture, the people, and especially the team. 

As a legacy for her family and the Maasai Tribe, she built Kokoo’s Guest House with the intention that it will bring families together from all over the world.
